S1E9-The Bride, the Idol, and the Covenant

In this episode we walk through Exodus 32–33, Exodus 34–36:1, Exodus 40, Leviticus 8–9, and Leviticus 16–17, exploring Israel’s failure with the golden calf and the incredible mercy of God that follows. As the covenant at Sinai is broken, Moses intercedes and God renews His promise to dwell among His people. Through the tabernacle, the consecration of the priests, and the Day of Atonement, God provides a way for a holy God to live among sinful people. Ultimately, these chapters point forward to Jesus, the final sacrifice and perfect mediator who makes a way for us to draw near to God.
