Welcome to the Year of the Word!
At Fair Park, we believe that when God’s people engage God’s Word, God brings life, clarity, and transformation. Scripture isn’t just something we read; it’s the fuel God uses to awaken hearts, strengthen faith, and spark revival. That’s why we’re inviting our entire church family to join us for the Year of the Word, a church-wide Bible reading plan designed to help us seek the Lord together with expectancy and purpose.
For 260 days, we’ll read the Bible five days a week, following a rhythm that’s both intentional and sustainable. This pace gives you room to reflect deeply and to return to passages that stand out. Each day’s reading also includes a dedicated space for journaling and note-taking, allowing you to slow down, capture what God is teaching you, and track the work He’s doing in your life over time.

As we walk through Scripture together, we are praying boldly for God to revive our hearts, renew our homes, and transform our church. Our hope is that this journey leads to a deeper love for Jesus, greater unity with one another, and a renewed passion for living out our faith in every sphere of life.
So lean in. Ask God to meet you in His Word. Use the journaling space to record prayers, insights, questions, and moments where God moves. Share what you’re learning with friends, family, and your connect group. Let’s be a church that’s passionate about the Word!

YEAR OF THE WORD KIDS

Year of the Word Kids is a children’s version of the 260-day Bible reading plan designed to help kids follow along with the same Scripture storyline as the church—five days a week—over the course of a year. Each day includes a shortened passage, a simple Big Idea, and a brief kid-friendly summary that helps children understand what they’re reading and how it connects to God’s bigger story.
Every day also includes family conversation questions at three difficulty levels—for preschool, younger elementary, and older elementary—plus a prayer prompt. The goal is to equip parents to disciple their children through consistent, gospel-centered conversations at home in just 5–10 minutes a day, helping kids see that the Bible is one story pointing to Jesus.
